Safety Glasses
Prescription safety eyewear is
an important and enforced requirement in some industries. The most
recent Australian Standard AS 1337:6: 2007 stipulates requirements for
prescription safety eyewear.
This standard was introduced in early 2007 and outlines the requirements of frames and lenses. At Vision @ Broadway we are able to supply products that meet this standard and that are supported by certification. We use Phoenix lenses that meet the medium impact resistance standard and match these up with our safety frames (with side shields) that also meet the standard.
